Chris and Shannon

Chris is a college/Fraternity friend of my husbands whom I've know for several years now. He has finally jumped on the band wagon of settling down and has given his heart to Shannon <3. They met back in middle school and after reuniting this year, they discovered they were brought back together for a reason! She is school teacher for JCPS and while he currently works for Humana, he is attending Seminary school to be a minister. We thought it would be fitting to do their E Session on campus and what a gorgeous campus it is! I had never been to the Southern Baptist Seminary Campus before (and am patiently waiting to hear if they will allow me to come back) and I'm so glad I got the chance to do a session there.

Lena ~ Mercy Academy Class of 2012

Lena is a cheerleader at Mercy Academy and the beautiful daughter of my neighbor directly behind my house. She wanted something none of her friends had and really hoped for a unique set of Sr portraits. Our first day got rained out, but 2 days later, we ventured downtown and let her equally as pretty sister Lauren come along for a few shots as well. Paula (aka mom) bought the large package I offer, so this is just Part I of her session. We plan on heading back out for a touch of funkiness when Lena returns from Spain in a few weeks. That's right, I said Spain. I never went on a HS trip to SPAIN!!!

I don't know what it is with these animals on the waterfront but I've had a few requests for them......

Congrats Lisa and Nick

I met Lisa through another client of mine and I'm so glad I did! She was a JOY to work with! The complete opposite of a bridezilla. She was actually one of my very first wedding bookings! I did their E Session last May on the waterfront just a few weeks before they moved to El Paso where Nick found a new job. They came back to Louisville and held their ceremony and reception at http://www.mellwoodartcenter.com/. It was beautiful, full of laughter, tons of out of town guests and it was HOT! And I don't mean sexy hot (although the are) I mean heat hot! After several days of wondering if rain would possibly bring the ceremony inside, the sun came out blazing! Nobody cared and it went off without a hitch. I loved this entire group of images so it was hard to choose my faves for the blog but here goes......

Lisa insisted I pose for a picture with her so TADA....below is the face behind the camera!

Seriously......the BEST mom and daughter dance ever!
They had a blast and we all enjoyed watching the show!

Kyle + Katie = Love

I met this couple several months back when they decided to trust me to do their wedding that will be held at Duncun Memorial in August. Their package came with an E Session and I couldn't wait! Due to TONS of rain in the KY area, we had to reschedule once and were worried about possibly a second time! While it didn't rain, it was pretty chilly on this May day down at the river front/River Rd area! Even still, Katie was a trooper and ready to have a go at it!
