Newborns!

I've had a few newborn sessions recently and wanted to showcase them all at the same time. Half are usually moms I did a maternity session with and when it gets close to the EDD, I get just as excited as they do!

Easter!

Easter has come and gone and I hope everyone had a great one! I've once again been slacking with keeping up on the blog but with all the rain we've been having and it causing me to have to reschedule several appts and allowing me to get totally caught up on edits.....I don't have anything else to do BUT blog :) I thought I'd post some of my faves from my Easter mini sessions which feature the star of each one, Logan the bunny! Thanks to a previous client of mine, I had the best bunny in the whole world. She seriously sat there with each kid like she enjoyed the photo-op herself.

And obviously I have to start out with my own little kiddo Brooklyn. Poor thing, she had pictures taken for each of the 3 sessions! I couldn't help myself!

I swear, she is not eating her. Kisses for the bunny!

I've been getting really discourage with the uploading tool on Facebook...why must the  images look so distorted?!

The Gibson Family

I met this family early last summer when their oldest son Bennett was turning 1..... boy has he grown!  Now they have a new edition to the family....Brayden! Bennett has always been a character and sometimes I wonder myself how I ever manage to get anything of him! But it always works out in the end and I can't ever stop looking (and laughing) and some of the crazy facial features that let you know this boy is a HOOT! The younger sibling is a bit more mellow but just as cute! I'm so glad I get the opportunity to watch both of these sweet boys grow up :) (and in case anyone is wondering, Mr Bennett was adopted last New Years from Ethiopia)

Newborn ~ Joseph

Newborns have quickly become one of my favorite subjects to photograph and with my husband being 1 of 10 children, I think its safe to say I will never have a shortage with my family! Baby Joseph was born to my brother and sister in law Chris and Courtney and he makes #14 (grandchildren that is!) I think.... its hard to keep up with them all,lol. I was scheduled to photograph him at 2 weeks but illness kept me away until week 3.

Facebook is having a hard time uploading and when they do, half of the images end up looking awful! Most of the preview pictures will be uploaded here from now on with only a few to view on the actual Fan Page. 

This sweet little rolly polly ( I can say that because I've known his mom since elementary school!) was all smiles as long as he had something he could stick in his mouth :) And then of course dad and his silly songs were a sure thing to get that big grin! 

Best Of Louisville Top 10!

Yep, that's right folks, I did it! I made it into the Top 10 for WHAS 11s Best of Louisville Contest! I placed 6th out of over 100 entries. Thanks to everyone that supported me last year and has stuck with me as I continue to learn and better myself :)
